Me and the ex took our visiting daughter up the Beartooth Highway to lunch on Beartooth Pass as we did when she was young. For the first time in 27 years we saw a small herd of mountain goats while having our nosh. Canon 1D Mk II N, Sigma 100-300 f/4, 1/1000 @ f/8, ISO 200.

These goats seem to defy getting a fix on. It almost seems as their disguise is to look like patches of residual snow on the mountainside. Any close ups?

I like this a lot, Steve. It really captures the beautiful and rugged terrain, showing the goats heading home toward their somewhat barren but picturesque environment.

Thanks Asher and Don. The snow is receding glacier ice. Here are a few more images.
