C&C is fine. I've gotten really in to going to the local farmer's market to take pictures of vegetables, but I'm branching out into photographing the "goings-on" as well. I really liked these when I first pulled them off the camera but now more and more I'm looking at them as snaps. I do like the colors, the sense of motion with the slight blur of her wings, and the light.

Sydney, I love the movement of the scarves but the background distracts me.

I totally agree. I wish I'd been in a better position to isolate her from the bg. On the other hand I kind of like being able to see the reactions of all the people watching her dance.

I think this is the kind of shot you know how to elevate from a snap to a photo, hmmm, I want to say, when you're really good. I think I simply mean with more experience a photographer can grab a moment like this (I walked by and saw she was dancing so I stopped to take some shots) and make it art.
