Blowin' in the Wind

So, I'm standing on a river bank near my house looking to do a reshoot on the branches and Spanish moss shot when I notice a leaf caught up in some monofiliment fishing line, spinning wildly in the wind - at times less spin, more stillness, so I waited for a relatively still moment and made this shot. Slow in this case still meant a shutter of 1/4000 for the capture and probably more shutter actuations than I should have given to so simple a shot. Light was all wrong for the other shot.

Fascinating. Do you have more? This is a rare circumstance to work with. Some blurs could be interesting too.

The blurs didn't work because of the small size of the leaf against a larger backdrop. I really didn't have the lens I should have for the scene. another lesson learned about carrying more kit when I venture away from my car. I may go back here and reshoot if the new rains coming in today don't blow it away.
