Top picture was only sharpened slightly.

Bottom picture was cropped slightly (bird was in the same place as the top picture).

Didn't mess with the color.

Someone add species name if possible and mention where it's found. Maybe others might catch one too! Always great to add enough to encourage other to learn about such beautiful wildlife.

Hello Jaime, Very well captured. I have never seen a bird with such vivid colours. I am too impressed with the 500mm lens you carry, this image is tac sharp. I too am leaning toward this lens.

That first shot is a seriously nice image of what I assume is a Mountain Bluebird (as opposed to the Eastern Bluebirds we have here on the east coast). Wonderful background, and beautiful pose.

The second shot holds less appeal to me, without the 'elegance' of the pose in the first.
