Bodybuilder at rest

Actually I wasn't sure where to post this. A somewhat relaxed moment with Moe Mossawi, one the top professional bodybuilders in the world. It is from a series I photographed last week for a fitness magazine.

Wow. His and my ideas of being at rest are quite different. I remember when I was a child seeing the ads in comic books, you remember the ones, with the guy kicking sand in the face of the puny little guy at the beach? He then goes out and gets bulked up and huge like this guy in order to win the girl. I always wanted to do that but just never got around to it.

This man obviously got around to it and puts everything into what he is doing with and for his body. Your interpretation or representation here shows it off extremely well too and I am not at all surprised that it works wonders in selling whatever this guy is selling, be it an actual health and body related product or just the idea that you can look like this too if you are willing to put in the time and work required. I am still not quite ready for that committment myself but maybe someday.

Actually those ads in the back of comic books and magazines impacted a lot of your men at the time.

The photo shoot was actually for the cover and a feature story that the magazine is doing about him.

Thanks for the kind words.
