Of course, Chris! I saw thr buds very early this morning ing before it was light outside.
I admire your choice of the opening bud as the subject. With its glimpses of magenta and lilac at the tips of exposed petals, it has a sense of ripeness approaching, as if a fruit we would look forward to harvesting soon.
It’s this a dynamic subject about to expand a burst out curvaceous petals that are splendid in their open array of a cluster of flower let’s.
I hope you update its progress and the sunshine does its magic!

It looks like a sort of Allium bud. I've photographed them before and they are so special when they are budding out!

Oh I realize now that they are Agapanthus. They do look similar while in bud.
