here are a couple more - not up to the standard of "Refraction", i fear, but then, as i mentioned, that was a once-in-a-lifetime shot...
these were taken at a local zoo's butterfly exhibit. this one i call "Formation", for obvious reasons... not a photographically exceptional shot, but i liked the positioning of the two black swallowtails, and wanted to catch them before one of them flitted off... shot with a Panasonic FZ20, 12x zoom (~430mm equivalent), 1/160 @ f4.0...
this second shot was taken during a later visit, with my 30D and Sigma 80-400 at 280mm, 1/400 @ f6.3...
