Nice one. The almost irony reminds me of a road sign I saw some years ago by a cross-walk near a seniors home in the north of England: "Danger Old People".

To me part of the irony is that the cross "points" to another direction than the Catholic institute...It says it all.
The catholic institute of Toulouse is in fact a "university for priests", with a huge library dedicated to religion (not only Christian). It had to use it for some researches on the origins of Rogation crosses that I was photographing on these days in order to make a series. Needless to say that they ask you if you're a believer when you first enter the house, and if you happen to say the truth, (which in my case is "NO"), they make all the difficulties to let you use the library. I was able to enter because I argued (scholastically, let's say) on the fact that if I had said a lie (which is a sin) they would have let me enter. The guy is still thinking now about that, and maybe is petrified with guilt.

Yep! For sure! As my old FA didn't have any Exif Data, I can't recall the time of the day. Next time I'll return in France, maybe, I'll have to sit there all day and ask for the priests to cross at the exact right time. Just quite a good old Mise en scene. :)

Wonderful capture, well framed and executed. And yes the irony of the shadow pointing in the opposite direction than the sign did not get lost on me. Bravo!
