Bumped into a fellow parade-shooter over the weekend.
Had a few laughs comparing mishaps, characters and other oddballs we'd come across over the years.
At one point he asked "you ever shoot the guy in the dress, you know...the one in every parade...the one with the rainbow poodle-dog and live parrot?
"Of course" I replied, "I thought it was mandatory".
"Besides, doesn't NYPD require at least 3 before they issue press credentials?" I added.
To anyone else listening, this must've sounded like a bad Monty Python skit.
Anyway, when I got home I did some digging.
Sure enough, out he pops.
Thankgiving Day Parade, Mexican Day Parade, Gay Pride Parade...and the list goes on.
I thought I'd share a few shots of this very interesting character, who parades for the sheer fun of it.
