The first thing one thinks of from the title is some surfboarder riding a mountainous ocean wave. What a relief to find a much more gentle scene. I'd like to be walking there to see what ocean life I could stumble across.

Looking north from where I shot the wave. And that is Canada off in the distances. This beach is only 4 or 5 miles from our place.
