Challenge: A walk by the river: Start with a Couple & Dog by Charles River, Boston

Actually, the residents of Cambridge Massachussetts would be taken aback being included as part of Boston. This college town likes to be very "New England natural", talking about having less power in a central government and for sure spend next to nothing on makeup or hair brushes!

People in this area I know are pretty self sufficent, liberal politically and love the arts, social causes and listening to the best audio.

River Wharfe, Langstrothdale, Yorkshire Dales National Park

Hi Asher

Here's one I took yesterday whilst spending a day in Langstrothdale, it was a beautiful day, the river is unusually low at the moment revealing the rocks, the light was incredibly harsh, I have loads more from yesterday yet to process, but here's an early one of my husband Paul & our dog Kim. Incidentally I learned to swim as a child in a river pool not too far from here, very cold!

Wonderful image Jan,

Do you have images to the left and some sky to add. This is great as it is but cries to be a pano on your next trip; such good lines to exploit! Also what is that creature on the rocks, a squirrel, a rat or a beaver?

Well Asher, I wish you were here to hear the laughter this comment has caused!

Yes I got loads more yesterday, will have a look through for panos as I go through, but the light was terribly intense to the LHS. Will go again in a few days time, but I think we'll go late afternoon next time, glad you like it, I promise not to tell Kim dog what you said!

No not the dog!

One inch up and one inch in from the right lower corner.

That's what caught my eye!
