Interesting difference in result. I certainly find the second one (warmer developer) better.

There is so much to this (as for everything!) Your practical research is so valuable to those interested in this technique, and interesting to many others as well.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Doug

Chris,

I too like the second version better as the cloud is more open to enjoyment.

But what did you mean by the adjective “warmer”? Did you mean “color temperature” or perhaps thermal temperature?

Hi, Asher,

I believe he is referring to the temperature of the developer solution. In one case it was at "room temperature"; in the other, at 130° F.

Hi, Asher,

Nothing like that. I just read what Chris wrote here.

Best regards,

Doug
Fabulous! Shows difference in ranking data. I was only interested in the image as it was spectacular.

You are detail oriented and likely use the titles more than I do in processing the image. So your methodology gave you an advantage, but I spent more time happy, LOL!

None...paper is nor pre-prepared. There are books to guide you but the best information comes from the chemical/paper supplier, Bostick & Sullivan: https://www.bostick-sullivan.com/

They are located in anta Fe NM and offer workshops, private lessons and the like. Great folks!
