It does one a lot of good. Mountain mint fresh. Brilliant day for hiking.

A sweater, a hiking stick, a D700, ZF 50/2 Makro, Polarizer. One is set for the day.

Me, I take the car. Wait at a beautiful cafe, have some bagels with cream cheese and salmon. If I take a wrong turn...get a baguette and some croissants.

I shall meet Ayesha on the other side of the valley. Now where is the gas station? Shouldn't run out of gas. Else I too shall be hiking!!

Beautiful scenery Fahim - like Charlotte implies you can almost taste the fresh air!

Is this the European Alps? Certainly looks very similar if it isn't.

THanks,

Charlotte, Andrew, Asher..thank you all for stopping by.

If ' monsieur ' changes to ' herr ' than one can hike in the shadows of mountains and lakes..

Of course then one has to do with sauerkraut and accompaniments!

Now that must surely be the Matterhorn in the background - fairly unmistakable peak! My father, in his younger days, has climbed part of the ridge up the hornli hut. Would like to go there myself one day.

I envy your travel Fahim, and you are collecting some wonderful shots along the way.
