I'm not used to seeing this frontal view. Now thank your lucky tars you are not a little bug on the wood! That must be one horrible green nightmare to look up to!

I thought it was a damsel. It was dragon fly like.. freshly hatched.

Both photos are the same bug, one is at 1x and the other is 3x - the lens goes to 5x!

It is a damsel AFAIK. Damsel wings test parallel to the thorax-abdomen axis while dragonfly wings rest perpendicular to the thorax-abdomen axis.
