Hi Nigel,
You are right this is an interesting subject. Did you take a bunch more pictures and did you hand hold this and what camera was this?
Is this image to you complete as it appears to me flat with no subject of attention?
Do you want us to provide criticism as before with your Zoo pics and also have a go at exploring what choices there might be with this image?

Hi Asher,
Any advice is welcome. This was taken using a Canon EOS 350D with a Sigma 70-300mm lense. It was taken hand held as I was traveling past on a ship.
I have had a go adjusting the levels in Gimp. This was also captured as Jpeg in sRGB

I think it's best to show you how I'd prepare the image myself, although I don't know how this fits in with your goals and vision.
I have enhanced the differences between different parts of the image to bring out what I think is important and can catch the eye, leading attention to the building and the water in front of it.

Thanks Asher, I think the b&W conversion of the image works realy well and makes for a more dramatic image.
