Great find, Peter!

This is so handsome with the transparent wings and red stripes!

What a clever moth, disguised as a wasp and red markings to tell predators it’s tastes really awful! It apparently gets the protective, off-putting taste by sucking the juices of broken leaves and stems of certain plants containing toxic alkaloids!

Thanks for sharing!

Are they a pest for clothes or crops? Or likely they’re just moths “doing their thing” in the jungle ecosystems!
