Ducklings

I know these aren't taken from the best angle, would have perferred to have shot these lower but were taken form a river bank above the ducklings.

Peter,

These are very wonderful ducklings. I just have one question and that is about sharpening. How did you do this and is the down like that or is it a tad brittle? A suggestion: the last duckling is in a very bright light which pushes the whites to the limit. Have you looked at using the Highlight/Shadow tool in CS2/3/4 to rescue these brights.

Still, the nature of the subject can withstand any such technical quibbles as I like the series very much. They will be all tested on an 18 month old tomorrow and that is the criteria that counts!

Hi Asher,

I have a workflow process that I go through with all of my photos, seems to work alright. Created some of my own actions and if you would like can share with the rest of the forum.

It was a very bright day for Ireland, the duckling just came out of the water and yes, their down does look like that:)
