Don,

You have been very respectful of what’s “natural”. The bird is beautiful with splendid colors. But looking at the weathered tree, it occurs to me that the level of light might be high.

If that is so, the bird might be a tad too bright and the richer colors might be brought out by taming the brightness and increasing the “clarity” in PS.

But I am, of course ignorant of what your bird looked like! ?

So how do you feel about optimizing color and texture to make the bird pop out of by more?

Do you allow yourself that leeway or or, do you try to use the OOC jpg as being most likely nearer the “truth”?
