First Proper Lights - what do you use?

I have to do a project where I'll be doing portraits of theatre performers and have decided to get some proper lights for the first time. I am looking at portability as some of the shots will be outside etc.

I've been looking at the Bowens studio in a box with a travel pack and pulsar triggers.

So, what do you use/recommend and any other advice you have would be most appreciated!
