So been awhile since I have been on here, normally I take pictures of scantily clad women (and on rarer occasions men), but those have been in short supply lately.
Also been playing older and newer equipment lately. A few months ago got the last of my father's camera equipment, an old Canon Rebel (just Rebel not rebel 2,3 or 4) with a Tamron 18-200 lens, both still work. Amazingly the lens works great even on my newer cameras.
Anyway, so I have been doings my girlfriend's roses and other flowers lately.
And I used to once every other year head on over to the local Rose Garden, except a blight killed a lot of the roses, so they replaced them this past year. I was kind of upset they didn't replace the roses with roses, when I heard that. However, I was driving by a couple days ago and noticed they were in bloom so stopped to take some pictures using the camera in the car (a T3i with a 50/1.8 lens). The first one "Bee on Flower" is from that shoot. I was disappointed to find the autofocus missed about 1/3 of the shots. Unfortunately not easy to notice with my glasses on to protect my eyes from the sun. Also Girlfriend with me and hot sunny out, she is a redhead and they burst into flames if out in the sun for too long, so limited my time that day.
And then Yesterday, went back and took my good camera rig (a stereo set of Canon R5c) along with a couple of other lenses, including said Tamron, which I was planning on permanently putting with theT3i I keep in the car, so had to try that out, the second one titled "Butterfly" is from that combo.
The last image is just to show all the colors of flowers I could get in one shot and still be able to see they were flowers, there were a LOT of color. Just happened to catch another different butterfly in that one. The interesting part was about 4 different colors of sunflowers in the corners of the garden (maybe pictures later).
So I present my flower pictures of the week.
