Out of the two shots I prefer the first one interesting with the red filters applied, maybe this would also work in b&w....

The second one looks over sharpened and looks as though you've used flash which has blown the highlights in places. I think orchids are difficult flowers to photograph, my preference is to use natural light and large gold or silver reflectors to push some light into the center of the flower, just a suggestion if you haven't already tried shooting using this technique.

I should also say welcome to OPF, nice to see your work;)
 
Thanks Janet for your visit and the good comment. andf may be you are wright the second one ia oversharpened, this is an old picture from two years ago with Canon 300 D (not able to use more dan 400 Iso), nowadays I make my shots with Canon 30 D and it is possible to use very high Iso value without using a speedlite.
