Getting the sheeps

Hi

Jerusalem is a kind of centerpoint for temples and churches.
In the Church of The Holy Sepulcre the orthodox Church is "Chief" ... much work for the shepherds to keep the sheeps together:

It is fabulous that the various sects work together generally. At times fights break out between conflicting factions of priests as to what segments of floor the Greeks have a right to attend to and sweep!

Hi
it is not so fabulous ... the priests of the orthodox church are very restrictiv, there are many differences between the churches' members ... last year they nearly fought on each other ...

However, one nice thing is that no matter your religion, you have access to worship as you wish or not! Churches and Mosques are protected and respected. Religions are a big source and excuse for wars so we are fortunate when there is at least some measure of coexistence.

There are meeting places where Arabs and Jews and Christians of all persuasions can have dialog. Hopefully this might lead to a better appreciation of our common humanity.

i always fear the worst but expect the best in us!

I do hope to see more pictures of your travels here!
