Gift Prints

Being retired now, there are fewer and fewer opportunities to experience clients satisfaction of having prints that they purchased from me, hanging on their walls. For me, having hundreds of thousands of image files is not overly satisfying without people enjoying having them displayed in their homes or in other ways.

Even though it is costly for us to do on a grand scale, Anne and I have decided to use my art (the same with her amazing quilt creations) to give as gift prints to friends and family who would appreciate it.

Anne & I delivered prints to our grandchildren Oakley and Jett yesterday to decorate their new bedrooms in their new house.

Jett loves dinosaurs, but unfortunately I haven’t come across any live dinosaurs to take pictures of. So Anne suggested this huge Iguana that we photographed in Costa Rica, as a substitute.

Oakley loves soft things and chose a pretty pink paint colour for her bedroom. She liked this macro shot of a rose that I had a sample pic of at my desk. She was describing to her mom how the part of the rose in the picture is only about an inch wide (she described it with a gap in her fingers). She seemed to think that was pretty cool.

Anne and I are glad they are happy with our gift.

Thanks Maggie. They are photo lustre prints mounted on 3/4 standout panels with black edges - no need for frames

Fabulous to see your grandchildren. It’s so enjoyable for me that they want the pictures. Your choices are the key!

I have had so many of my own offers turned down, LOL, but I can’t match that Iguana. But if I had such a picture one grandson at least would love it! I think I will keep my grankids in mind when going through my pictures!

Where did you get them printed? Is it online, as they look superb!

I use White House Custom Color from Minnesota for all my professional printing, mounting and books - - - and as well now, for my street and art prints. They do a very good job, and send promptly to my location in Canada within a few days handling all Customs, etc. One reason that I started with them when I was travelling all the time, is because they provide drop-shipping straight to clients locations in many parts of the world. For me sometimes that would be getting print orders to Canada, allowing me to return to Central America and finish off a job I had taken, from there. https://www.whcc.com/

Sometimes I have added my signature to the file before printing. Other times I sign with a pen on print after the fact.
