Gorgeous Female Zebra Jumping Spider (Salticus scenicus)

Paul Iddon

Moderator
A common jumping spider found across the UK. Jumping Spiders do not make webs. Instead they jump onto their prey with great accuracy and quickly inflict a lethal venomous bite. She is very small just now, maybe 3mm, so a bit of growing up to do to reach a possible 6-7mm.

Very nice study set of a nice looking little beast! The first shot is a keeper.
We definitively do not live in the same world… what a strange environment for us, I can't imagine the same upscaled to human size
I'm surprised that you wrote "She is very small…" I thought that animals were neutral in English!
