Gutter photography

I spend a great deal of time waiting, usually for Christine while she whiles away her time and money in Myers or the like.
Since my life is short I put the time to good use. The trusty Nikon is always in the ready. To look inconspicuous I dress appropriately and sit in the gutter (usually resulting in a small handout from a passer by and a vagrant notice from the constabulary).
Its an interesting perspective, being at 'kid' height. Faces disappear and the world becomes a forest of legs, some of them worthy of a closer look.

There are occasions when the competition for a good spot is strong. Being the good natured person that I am, a friendly introduction and chat is always in order. A few dollars adds to the friendship. I usually finish up with a few copies of The Big Issue as well. I'm a socialist at heart anyway.

The dogs name is Jack. He likes sausage rolls.

Of course you like to sit on the curb or in the gutter! The picture is perfect. I wonder if the girls get those sharp shoes as part of their uniform?
