Hi Twiggy,

Once again, you show narrow openings, passages and possible routes of travel. Each one draws us in to the picture and beyond. It's fascinating to me that all your photographs shown so far are joined by reference to the same metaphor, "Life as a Journey". Did you choose these pictures because I mentioned this strength in your first post, or is this happenstance? I imagine, that as a younger person, you're most concerned with defining your own path into the future.

I certainly enjoy your work and sensitivity.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to write another detailed comment. =)

Well, I don't know where to start.
I'm originally Guyanese. Even though I grew up in NY, Guyana still holds a special place in my heart. It's such a small but beautiful country, and hardly anyone's heard of it. I went back there this summer (when I took these photos) and my personal assignment to myself was to capture the beauty of this place.
These are my three favorite shots.
Life is definitly a journey, and I want to make it into a true journey. I want to travel the world. Specifically, I like to take photos of things you don't normally see, that you wouldn't notice. That's my passion in life, and I truly believe a photo is worth 1000 words. I want to capture and show people how lovely our world can be . . . and how ugly it can be.

Twiggy,

You have the makings of a great photographer if you apply yourself to your passions and dreams. First you have evident passion, a defined goal and then a secret treasure from which to draw inspiration, your own private love of a tiny place on this fragile planet. Don't lose any of this. Just take pictures every day and make your time count.
