Heads up--Rollei 6008 (lenses also fit Hy6)

I'm not selling these items and don't have an interest in their sale, but thought I'd post a heads up that there is a fabulous Rollei 6008 kit up for sale over on APUG and the Large Format Forum with several new Schneider lenses that should also fit the Sinar Hy6, and there is a variety of other equipment that may be of interest to participants here. This all belonged to Ted Harris, a photographer, workshop leader, and writer who also served as a moderator of the Large Format Forum, worked on _View Camera_ magazine, and was an expert in high end scanning, who died suddenly and unexpectedly a few months ago. He bought the Rollei setup a few weeks before he died, so it is hardly used, and in some cases completely new, because the items arrived after his death.

They are being sold by his widow, Amy Rafferty, who is completely trustworthy as far as quick delivery and packaging go. She isn't a photographer herself, so she isn't able to describe all items in detail, but she does pretty well actually. I bought an Acratech leveling head from the sale and can affirm that Ted kept his gear in excellent shape.

I know she would rather make a direct sale than go through a dealer and wants to bring the estate sale to a close, so there are probably some good deals to be made somewhere between the new price that Ted paid and what a dealer would pay.
