Hi, I'm Steve. My wife bought me a Canon Eos Rebel XTi for Christmas and I am timidly beginning to take pictures with it. I still remember film and have trouble getting myself to actually press the button and take a picture. This whole photography thing took off when my wife bought me this incredibly extravagant guitar (a Gibson SG Classic) and started photographing that and my other guitars. After I asked her to take some pictures of them to post, she became incredibly determined to capture pictures of these difficult objects, and a new avocation was born.

I don't have a really clear idea of what I want to do with a camera yet. I hope to learn some things about that here and in other places.

Steven has an "eye" and will be shooting spectacular shots some day. He'll go far past me and I can't wait to see it.
