Hi.

I am Pablo Montes and i am new to the forum, I am from Colombia and a total noob in photography but i am eager to learn, i am also in the process of buying a decent camera i am currently using my phone cam; i take lots of shots and use a lot of software( a trick to get HDR and Superrresolution) in order to get almost decent photos.

I am an Electronics Engineering student in Bogota I love to shot flowers and colorful stuff, landscapes and art pieces.

I hope i can learn a lot from the forum, make some friends and have fun.

Pablo,

A huge welcome to you! We'd love to see pictures of Bogota and surrounding areas. I myself have never been that far South on this continent!

Go slow at first on camera expenditures! Ask and you will get all the help you desire. A simple digicam with RAw capability, with your use of software will serve you well before you need to decide on something more expensive. Just get a camera that can take pictures in RAW so that you can return to the images later and use your latest skills to bring out images you'd never have thought possible!

Have fun and post. Nothing wrong with with cell phone images! When you post you'll give joy and get back feedback and critique in return!

Asher
