Just wanting to introduce myself here. I am getting out of the Army here in Kansas and plan on starting up a photography business. I have been interested in photography since I was about 12 years old when I got my first SLR (Pentax K1000) I am now 33 and have been taking photos and digesting everything I can about photography since then.

I would like to get into doing portraits and weddings (and anything else I can photograph) and will probably have a lot of questions to be asked on here. I will get some photos up soon for you guys to tear apart and critique. All help that I can get I would appreciate.

I hope to learn a lot on here. Thanks to all of you in advance for the help I am sure to get off of here.

When you are discharged does that mean you will be able to say "We're not in Kansas any more, Toto?" (okay, I am making fun of Kansas - please excuse me - just trying to make someone smile - I have a bit of obsession with Wizard of Oz and anything relating to it - I actually own a professional Toto/cairn terrier)

Thank you for serving our country. We have a few vets here and a few photographers willing to help out too. Looking forward to your contributions and feel free to ask away.
