I have recently joined this site.

I am a retired anaesthesiologist with a young family, Sophie aged 14 years and Hamish aged 3. Patient Jenny is wife and mother.

My photographic interests are in Swiss landscape (especially if there is a train in the scenery!) and industrial interiors.

My equipment is still film-based with the Mamiya 645 Pro, a Sinar p 4"x 5", an Epson 4990 scanner and Photoshop CS2. Photoshop, I am still learning and always will be. Discovering "Lab" colour has turned on the light for me. What a fabulous creation! For that I must thank Dan Margulis and his superb book, "Photoshop Lab Color". It is a constant companion and comfort!

I volunteer for two organisations.
1. "Royal New Zealand Air Force Museum" aircraft restoration workshops.
2. "Mainline Steam Trust", where large steam locomotives are restored, maintained and run.
Hence the interest in industrial interiors.

Hi John
welcome onboard OPF train.
They are many different wagons (cars) to suit your needs here.

BTW I've put your name in lower case as upper case may indicate shouting... Please see absolutely no offense :)

A great family you have, John! Congratulations.

Please join the MF and LF forum as we need you, film or otherwise!

Since you have a scanner, I know we'll all be thrilled for you to join our growing film group and start posting your photographs there for us to enjoy.

Of course, they can be in any forum they belong too.

However, that forum does need support and you especially welcome!

Asher
