Amazing picture, Twiggy. Lots of imagination. On looking at it first, my reactions were of the shock and awe type. Then looking again in better light and some time later, two things came to mind. 1. The "blood" on the cheeks & chin seems brown not red. Is that because of my uncalibrated screen or did you mean it to be so? 2. The person looks a lot calmer than I would in a nightmare like that. Maybe an expression of fear/horror/pain in the face would enliven the picture even more, although to overdo that would detract from the theme.
Cheers
Mike

Hi Twiggy,

You're a creative lady! I can see a lot there I like. The graphic content hardly worries me. I do have problems with the writing over the image. This makes it a challenge for us to understand the art.

So here's a very gentle opinion, just my own $0.02, not some strict rule we have, just common sense, as I see things: We don't want a barrier between your intent and what we see. Usually we take a picture in one pass of less than a second. If you can let go of the watermarks*, it will be great!

Asher

* Instead, consider this: add © information, use restrictions and license website contact info inside the IPTC code and add a reminder © Twiggy 2008 on lower edge of the picture, for example.

Welcome Twiggy. It looks like you're having fun, and doing nicely, with a camera and computer (particularly given your young age!).

Tell us more about this image. Was it part of a school project or just a personal project?

Thanks everyone. =D

Yeah, I took this a while ago when I still used dA's watermarks.

Well, about the photo . . . about a day before the image was taken, I had gotten a cut on my thumb so I had a box of bandages sitting in front of me. I was playing with them when the idea just hit me. So I ran to my kitchen to make some fake blood. =D
