Hello everyone,
Thank you for including me in open photography forum. Since I'm a new member, I've had only a brief experience to what it has to offer and I must say the range of subjects covered by the members is phenomenal.
I'm an amateur photographer from India. If you know India, you'll realise its a land of immense diversity and texture. As an Indian, and one with a camera, I'm constantly surprised by what it has to offer. My endeavour as a photographer is to capture the texture of life and living in a most inclusive manner. My pictures are 'busy' and I strive to include as much as possible which is in context of the subject. Most of my work revolves around people and portraits in their most natural existence.
I'm stuggling with panoramas, still life and my one year old son at the moment.
I'm sure I'll improve my work in your company,
Cheers,
Prateek Dubey

Prateek,

Such a big welcome for you! We are looking forward to getting to learn more of your tiny portion of that massive bustling continent. So post up to 4 related pictures at a time in the best section you feel fits. We'll move it if need be. I wonder how your eyes see the ways of life compared to tourists or National Geographic photographers.

This is something I'm personally looking forward to.

A very warm welcome to OPF, Prateek. Your Holi picture is something I have enjoyed immensely.
Looking forward to learn a lot about India, as it is my next destination.

Best.
