I love the mood of the title and then the pictures really do deliver on the promise. Thanks so much. I need that!

I do have a question on the hue of the green grass in the first shot. I could be my wife's brand new iMac, so just check for yourself. Or else I'll do it tomorrow on a better monitor.

Where is that, anyway!

Is this from your window?

Hi Asher,

With the hectic times here at OPF, I felt that we all needed a positive push in the back to start the day in an optimistic way. That's the sole purpose of this post, nothing technical or serious photography related.

The pictures are just snaps, taken at a location which is some 3 km away from my home. You are right, the hue is not OK but bear in mind that these are HDR pics and the hue won't be natural as such.

I used my new G9 on a tripod. The pics were taken at 80 ISO, f5.6, 7.4 mm and 44.4mm (35mm and 210 mm equivalent FOV). Shutter speeds were bracketed.

Cheers,

Very nice! As Asher said, the mood is just lovely!

Ahhh, another G9er, looks like this cam spreads like mushrooms. ;)

Was just thinking, isn't it amazing how far all this has developed? With a epson 3800 and a G9 you can already create excellent A2 results no one needs to be ashamed of by any standards, and all this for around 2K.

LOL, no wonder the print industry depreciated around 30% in the past few years, more expensive paper is only one part of the equation.
