It's a dog's life

Hi,

While browsing the slides I took three years ago while on vacation, I have come across this poor dog. She was terminally ill, flea infested, blind, undernourished, with a serious skin condition and what have you.

Fuji Provia scanned with VueScan and Canon FS4000US. PP in PS for tone correction and smart sharpening.

Geeze...hardly know what to say. I lost my beloved Springer Spaniel at Christmas time and it was very hard...and this is hard to look at too.

I hope for my own sake that I never meet one of those guys who do this to animals, puppy farms and the likes. I'd be in big trouble!!!!

I agree with your sentiments Georg. Although in this case it was a stray dog living on the streets of a small town. They did not have an animal department at the municipality to take care of the poor beast or to put them mercifully to sleep.
