A couple of weeks ago a friend rode his Yamaha FJ R1300 through some snow to visit us. Given the weather, this was well beyond the call of duty!!

Anyway, I was testing some Adox CHS25 film that weekend and grabbed a quick shot of him and the bike as he was preparing to leave for home later in the day. I've just done him a print to take back as he's visiting again this weekend.

Hi Fahim

No secrets really and the downsizing helps, but I shot it with a Zeiss Biogon 35 on slow (iso25) film, developed in rodinal and then careful PS work after scanning. The print I made Jont at 12 by 9 looked great with deep blacks and nice crisp edges. the grain in the out of focus areas is really tight and soft at this size.
