Juvenile Crested Caracara,,,,who's foot do you have?

I was able to get with in 15 feet of this Juvi Caracara. Looks like he is eating some sort of Heron's foot!
Tried to get him to move out of the shade a bit but didn't want to push my luck since I was so close.

Fantastic series, Eric. I just love this species, and you've made the most out of this close encounter.

Please excuse my relative absence - just returned earlier this week from Costa Rica, and am still catching up. Ironically, I was hoping to get some more shots of the Crested Cara Cara, but despite seeing a number of new bird species, and having great opportunities with monkeys, no Crested Cara Cara!
