I'm impressed by the "morality" of the Leica company is being true to its founders' philosophy: making don't sacrifice heritage! This camera seems to be the design that would have been made by the original engineers of the M system had the technology been available. The 3 frames per second maximum speed and the slowdown in live view shooting means that this is hardly for action shooting but could be a remarkable studio camera in addition to the expected role of a Leica, street photography and weddings a la creme!
For those already invested in Leica lenses, getting this new camera is no big issue to figure out. Sell an old M8 or M9 body and it's then not an expensive upgrade. For the rest of us, it's a Bentley to be admired as it passes!

One flaw: why one earth do they insist on having to remove the baseplate to load the SD card? Wasn't there room somewhere accessible for a tiny SD slot?
