I like the balance in composition between the couple and the bicycle.

I was impressed the moment I saw this, but I must admit that I missed the bicycle in the shadows until it was mentioned. I can't explain that, but perhaps I was satiated with the rich colors in the tunnel and then gave myself leave to look at the couple more intensely. If I owned this as a large print, of course, I'd know about the bicycle and value its contribution.

Glad there's more. I love them both.
I imagine I was traveling on a barge in Holland and we got off one evening at this village where they used to have a convent or paper mill and now this is a center for the public to enjoy. Is this a re-purposed church or industrial building of the 19th Century? Bricks and not, genuine cobblestones! Seems pretty interesting with the tunnels and the lighting.
