Little Egret (Egretta garzetta)

Asher Kelman

OPF Owner/Editor-in-Chief

The little egret (Egretta garzetta) is a small white heron. It is the Old World counterpart to the very similar New World snowy egret. In Botswana, it is known as the yellow-footed egret.

Pao,

As amazing as your bird is, it never ceases to impress me how much we love this birds and do not get acclimatized to seeing them. They are at once handsome, aristocratic and covering monsters. I cannot understand how creators that are so rapacious are so damn good looking!

The iridescent green in front of the eyes is so Erté!
