What a wonderful image. It seems like your processing gives it the look (especially beyond the human subject himself) of a "hyper-realistic" painting.

I like the "splashproof" (fin-cooled) motors on his drill press and air compressor.

A very impressive photograph, I like his pose with his hands crossed and very quizzical expression, and your choice of aperture..... keeping the background sharp, tells us so much more - wonderful colours too.
