Thanks for the praise Asher. appreciate the compliment!! Re the gimbal, these were handheld, leaning across my passenger as I was just down for the weekend in a regular landrover and not in the normal safari car., I love this place.

For info am now doing some photography and wildlife behavious) workshops and would be willing to donate a stay for a competition to promote the place shoudl you be interested?

Have a large number of lenses available for use during workshop, including 200 f/2 300 f/2.8 400 f/2.8 and 600 f/4 and of course 2 purpose built Landrover with roof flaps etc.

So if you know anyone interested in a Safari of a lifetime write me :) sorry re the quotes, feel free to add? my photography is better than my web skills
appreciate it

Superb close-up; never saw that much detail in a lion's iris!

Also loved the Roller shot. A friend of mine was in Kenya recently, and got some nice Roller shots as well. As a wildlife photographer with a strong interest in birds, these shots really motivate me to plan a trip to Africa one of these years!
