Marilies is more of a glamour model, and I needed some more portfolio work, so we got together for some fun in the studio. I personally feel it is some of my best work, but would love to constructive crit if anyone has any for me.

Hi,

#1 The background with the folds and pattern take away from the model. Additionally top of her head /hair is blending into the background. The light is falling off on her lower leg cutting it off.

#2 Background again seems to have hot spots on her face and shoulder.

#3 Good layout nice touch with the light by her feet.

You may want to adjust the frame you are using. If you us the blending options and bevel, drop shadow/Emboss it will seperate it from the photo. See the sample here

Bill,

Glad you pointed out the frames. I hadn't noticed there was any frame. I looked at the file and lightened the picture and was surprised.

Frames are too complicated and to me at least, not something this picture is read for. Besides a matt of a light color is needed. Otherwise the picture is imprisoned.

This picture shows a wonderful fresh model who is natural and for sure has glamor. Lighting on the last picture is most even and best. However, the middle image is most attractive as a glamor picture or to sell lingerie.

The lighting on picture number one shows areas which are rather too bright on the her left shoulder yet the lighting to her face is limited. A closer and broader light source might be more favorable. I'd prefer more light on her face, right side of her bodice and her legs and thighs.

Still I love this girls look and how you are working with her.

Beautiful model, stunning body, seriously needs a smile.

Very nice shots (although I do agree with some of the suggestions for further improvement from the other reviewers)

I must everyone who took the time to respond and assist me with my work, it is greatly appreciated.

This is the second time you folks have mentioned my borders are not cool, so I will change then as I value your input. I will make then with just a little bit added below the image so that no border surrounds the entire image.....thankyou.

A question for you guys.....I am really looking for more depth in my images, and feel that the lighting styles I have used in these images gives it to me, however the respons is that the shadows are a little too deep, if i read the viewers comments correctly. Should I therefore, use a flattering lighting setup and perhaps dodge certain area's to create more depth in the images ? Sorry I am just trying to get a clearer understanding from more advance people like yourselves. I have only been doing this for about 2 years now, and still have a tremendous amount to learn.

Again appreciate your feedback
