So many pretty flowers and the photo of the acorns is beautiful. Especially love the Echinacea taken from underneath. Really nice! I didn't even know that crocus grew in the autumn. Here, they are the first thing in spring, often peeking out of the snow. So pretty.

It is called autumn crocus, but it actually is a form of Colchicum autumnale (a very poisonous form, used to treat cancer as it stops cell growth). I take my pictures in a wonderful country garden, Hermannshof right on the other side of my home, which hosts 2.500 different plant + flowers species. Its is even known well amongst gardeners in the US.

You are indeed fortunate to be so near that garden. The longer focal length makes for new, more blended, out of focus feelings and that's good. Do you remember what each does or just go with the lens you happen to carry?
BYW, I have you to thank for several more 50mm lenses due to arrive in my collection. I chose the multicoated 50mm 1.8 Pentacon version of the Oriston for one and then the Steinheil Cassarit 50mm 2,8 M42 Mount.
