Midsummer has an important meaning in Nordic folklore. Flowers cut on Midsummer night were considered essential when foretelling a young maid's future spouse. Also evil spirits could be felts roaming freely in the nightless night.

Stephen, many foreign visitors find the constant light of summer very stressfull. I am originally from Lapland so I find it very comforting.
