My friend, Doug, gave some pointers on more genteel alternatives to certain shall we ' challenging ' English words.

Unfortunately, I neither have Doug's mastery of the Language nor Asher's considered choice of words.

The best I can do is provide a translation of simple but common sentence. Of course, said with passion and heartfelt emotion. And I think delivered delicately.

Well, I'm not sure of that. I deal all the time with "native English speakers" whose command of the language pales in comparison with yours!

Well said (although I of course couldn't understand the Arabic, but I assume it was at least an accurate paraphrase).

Hi Doug.

Transliteration just does not sound correct, in this instance.

There is ( part of the language ) an addition of an adjective; which would stand in for the word ' deep ' in English

Frankly, the Arabic didn't need translating. There was a clear and distinct message in the tone and enunciation.

When told such a thing, the common response here is to ask how deep are we currently immersed.

I think it's a nice optimistic view of a bad situation for, no matter how deep the mire, there is always firm ground beneath.
