Hi Nikolai,

Let me comment on images #1 and #3.

The view of the barbed wire fence is a subject you have tackled before with images I believe, from Thousand Oaks, California. The view of the hillside with a stone market at the skyline in solouhette is unusual for you and orginal. Both photographs are interesting in the diagonal lines and boundries of one domain to another. In that they are bold.

I do wish the details in the grass and sky would be made more evident! I guess I've been looking at too many Leica pictures recently and again far more 4x5 photographs than is fair! From this point of view, I have perhaps lost my frame of reference, LOL!!

Still, these very basic shapes are the themes that you like and you find great subjects for their exploration!

Thanks,

Asher

Asher,
thank you very much for your comments!
All pictures were taking pretty early in the morning, so I wanted to convey some dawn darkness. I also wanted to concentrate on the main targets (wire fence; hillside) so I specifically dampened the details on eveything else.
Cheers!
