Apparently your inquiry for critique has been overseen... I'll do a quick one. The idea underlying the picture is great: I like the opposition of colors and the structure of the insect. However I feel that the execution needs to be refined: I think that the picture needs perfection to really work graphically. If you can redo it with perfect depth of field, better control of the light (the highlights are burnt) and with the insect perfectly symmetrical (no cut feet...), it will be a winner.
