I needed a name for an article I was writing.

I searched the Net, but my searches came back empty.

So I've figured, I can come out with a new one myself. And I did

Now in addition to classic nine muses

1. Calliope (Chief of the muses and muse of epic poetry)
2. Euterpe (music/lyric poetry)
3. Clio (history and historical/heroic poetry)
4. Erato (lyrics/love poetry)
5. Melpomene (tragedy)
6. Polyhymnia (hymns and sacred poetry)
7. Terpsichore (dance and choral song)
8. Thalia (comedy)
9. Urania (astronomy)

we have a new one:

• Aperthuria (photography)

How does one say her name?

Nik, is this muse a nurturing or a chastising muse?

And, since I'm not versed in Greek, could you tell me how one pronounces her name?

a) With a "t" and a silent "h," as, Apert[h]uria ? (like, "Tell me why the stars do shine"

b) With a whispered "th" as, Aperthuria? (like, "Athelstan, King, Lord among Earls, Bracelet-Bestower and Baron of barons)

c) With a syllable division between the "t" and the "h," Apert-huria? (like, a pert hurricane)

d) None of the above?

I have seen her acolyte on OPF, and have come to worship her. < low bow >
