I like this one as it's making a sharp turn. It's like some fighter plane doing acrobatics to gain advantage in combat.
Since you are going to rework it, could you show this twice the size so we can still have the sky but see this turning bird better? This is an unusual and interesting shot. If you have enough detail it would be a unique print. The clouds are particularly restful but then the bird is agile and that is energizing!
I've re-worked this but am not happy with it, the original shot is dull, the bird is in heavy shadow, so I have used adjustment layers, shadow/highlight correction and dodged a bit to get to this point, but the bird just isn't sharp enough. Anyway - here is the revised version, let me know what you think. I'm glad you like it. I have several others with very dynamic poses similar to this one, but I wish I had some eagles to photograph.... I'm going to have to buy a nice long lens!
